1. Go to your ftp Client (eg Filezilla) and connect to your account at your Hosting Company.

2. Right click on your mouse to create a new folder/directory in your Local Browzer (at the lhs of the screen) and give it a name eg webpageversion2

3. Then find the index.html file in the public_html folder in your Remote Browzer (at the rhs of the screen).

4. Highlight the index.html file – drag it over to the Local Browzer in the same section that the new folder is showing – and let go. It will now show under the new folder, meaning that a copy is now on your computer.

5. Go to your html editor eg Kompozer, browse to locate the new webpageversion2 folder and amend the page which you downloaded into that folder.

6. Save and upload the amended page to the web.
